Default Fuel Issues - Warranty Repair?

I can fill my tank up to 1/2 way, then it thinks it is full and will spit gas back out if I put any more in. Get in the car and the gauge says 1/2 tank... Weird thing is it only happens sometimes.

Is this warranty repair? I thought I'd heard of other people having this issue, but I saw no TSB's that described it exactly.

Thanks

Someone just posted a fix for this issue. They took their car to a dealer and hada partreplaced to fix the issue. Check the new forum topics. It should be in there.

It's not a fix. He may have had evap issues but it isn't a fix. Do you think every one of us had plugged evap canisters from the factory? It is the saddle tank design that is the cause. No fix even after '05 and '06's got the TSB. All they did was put in a 2007 gas tank which didn't solve anything.

The TSB is the the gas tank replacement for 05s... SEE MY POST https://mustangforums.com/m_4752557/tm.htm

I just took mine in for this exact reason (1/2 max fill)... and my dealership successfully diagnosed an issue with the EVAP Canister. 100% covered by warranty.
