So I have had my stripes on for a little over a year and just as others have warned me the Silver Metallic stripes are starting to show more wear than other stripes do. Allot of pitting etc. What gives? I have spoken with a couple body shops and striping companies around here and most of them inc. the ones who install for Ford dealers are now steering people away from silver metallic striping. 2 of the companies and Ford dealers will not even install silver met. stripes...Mind you my car is garge kept even at work. MY drive to and from work is about 10 minutes...I only put on about 9k in miles a year...is anyone else have silver met stripes with the same issues? I am probably going to get them painted on next, then I have to worry about road debris kicking up and chipping it...how about white stripes? any issues with them? My stripes, They are not fading, just little blemishes and pitting is showing through on them...anyone else having these issues with silver met. stripes (they are BSM ) any issues with the white stripes? thnx for any advice and feedback
