his mod powers were revoked and he then flipped out, started a goodbye thread that ended up being like 30 pages long in only a couple hours, and never returned.

someone followed him over to another forum though, I don't know which one, but a bunch of the classic guys should know

I'd say that's a good price if the body is straight.

There's a local guy here that has a FL car that was brough up here several years ago and never put on the road. It's been in a barn for the past 5 years, taken out every summer to be washed, and then put back.

It's exactly the same thing - 66 coupe, straight 6, automatic.. He's asking $5800 for it.

I prefer the fastbacks, but if you want it, then yes, that's a good price. Coincientally, I was just looking at a classic car buyer's value book tonight at barnes & noble, and it said that a 66 I6 coupe in "parts condition" is worth $1040, then the next step up, basically a project car, was worth somewhere in the $3k range, then the next step was a decent running, whole car, was $5100, then it went to $10k, then $15k, then $22k for a showroom condition one.

You decide where that one falls, but from the pics, it's definitely worth $4k if it runs and everything is functional and it's not loaded with bondo and/or rust..

not a mustang, but my dad bought a 1969 pontiac gto judge edition. it was gonna be mine when i turned 18, but me being the douchebag, and being somewhat ignorant about cars...passed on the offer. only because i was weeks away from picking up an 03 cobra. then ended up getting an 01 ml320 (mom's car) and drove it for a couple years and finally ended up with an 08 gt.

it's totally not relevant, but i sometimes wish i made the right move.
