I think you can get the FRPP stingers (Borla stingers under FRPP name....3.5" tips) for $500, but the Borla stingers (with the 4" tips) will be more expensive.

I'm not selling mine if that's what you think.

I personally love the sound in that video.... i can tell you that when I just had the borla stingers and stock every thing else the sound was allot different than when I went to the kooks LT headers and catted x pipe....I have heard cars without the headers and the same setup (catted x, stingers ) and it sounds awesome...but have to say the headers do add some tone to it...hard to describe..sort of a whooshing noise....in fact my wife used to make fun of the cars noise with just the stock exhaust and borla axel backs...she used to say it sounded like a motor boat burble....however when I went to the whole set up...it was more like nascar.....now add in a supercharger and even a different tone.....I often wondered what my car might sound like if I ditched my stingers for some SLP loudmouths...TOO loud I am thinking....may put a want to trade ad on the forum someday...trading out my stingers for slp loudmouths...LOL...anyways...exhaust notes are truly unique...it is always pretty cool to go over to you tube and listen to the different combinations..heck go to a mustang meet and listen....good luck to you in your quest....

ORIGINAL: GTstangB.F.D.M.

i saw one vid on youtube with the bassani mid and mufflers, and seemed raspy... ill try and find some others..

any body know anyhting about the magnapacks.. just saw a vid with those and an x pipe.. sounded alot like corsa's
The sound of the pair is much deeper then in the video, and mine doesnt have any backfire kinda noises like the one in the video, You have to keep in mind exhaust sounds totally different from what a camera can pick up, to how it is in real life. Im also guessing this guy just did his install and is taping a video within 24 hours, without letting the exhaust fill up with all that carbon on the inside.

As far as the link you posted, I think that mustang sounds excellent, but It has 12x more rasp in the tone then even the bassani video you posted, Either way im sure you will be happy, it just seemed odd you were concerned about it being raspy and then picked that setup.

raspy to me, is flow masters on a 3 valve.. (our car).. sounds like sh.t... and all the popping when he lets off.. come on.. that sounds like ***..

the video of the magnaflows, is different than raspy.. call it what you want, but the sound flows alot better than fckin flowmasters..
