I called the 800 number and it is still clean and unscheduled with no VIN, but the reorder went in on 3/23/05. As far as the original order, it has not changed either, that order date was 11/17/04. I asked the dealer that very same question about the 06. He said that a new order would have to go in and start all over again with the new prices. It is not automatic, if it were, they may stuck with alot of orders that people pulled out from because they didn't get the previous year model.

I would suggest to call the dealer and see what he says. In my case, I am going to wait about another 10 days and call the dealer and see what they say. When I placed the order, they told me it would be 10-12 weeks.

All unfulfilled '05 orders will be canceled and you will have to reorder the '06 and get in line all over again. There are no changes scheduled for the '06 models other than bug fixes and new/deleted colors.

I bought mine off the lot on Friday.

My ordered 05 Windveil Blue GT came in today and is available in San Diego, same specs as the one listed in my signature, FWIW. If someone wants it, give me a holler.

It's an automatic.

I did not order it. Someone did and cancelled and I threw my name on it. You can call Mossy Ford and get the build date, but I believe that it was in the beginning of March, but I don't know the order date.

If your dealer is giving you printouts with codes.... Here they are:


UNSCHEDULED

* BB - fleet order only - review by bid department
* BD - special equipment processing
* BE - edit error - coding error which must be corrected before order can be considered for scheduling
* BG - order has passed edit, but cannot be scheduled regardless of priority or sold status
o F - Financial hold
o B - model or option
o B - build out
o L - material restriction
o M - material hold (fleet)
o BX - good order available for scheduling

SCHEDULED

* C - tentative schedule
* D - firm schedule: serial number is assigned, appropriate time in station (5) working days
* D1 - gateline: plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned, approximate time in station is (12) working days

BUILD

* E - framing
* F - paint
* G - trim

BUILT

* I - unit is built pending final inspection
* J - vehicle has passed final inspection: but not released to carrier unit requiring vendor work (sunroof, special package, etc.)
* JB - shipped to body vendor
* JE - shipped to emissions
* JS - shipped to storage
* KZ - released by plant and invoiced

TRAFFIC CODES

* KZL - released but not shipped
* KZM - first rail departure
* KZN - first rail arrival
* KZO - delayed/received

Thanks PW, unfortunatley the only status I got on the car were those 5 lines but thanks alot for the info. I really hope this car gets here f'ing soon bucause waiting 5 months for a car, that not even hand buid, is absoulutely ridiculous.
