Default Seat Squeeking...hmm

So I have about 16k miles on my 07. I took it in around 9k about the drivers seat squeeking. It sounds like its comming from the floor under the seat, and whenever I take off from a light or accelerate it squeeks and groans. They said they lubed up something, and it went away for a bit, and now its back. What could it be? Its getting very annoying =x it definitley sounds like something needs to be replaced.

There has been alot of threads over this. It isn't just your car, alot of ours have the "squeaky seat" including mine. It seems like it will only do it when it's really cold or really hot out tho.

Only sqeek mine has is when the back cushion is fully compressed, it rubs against the center console. Makes a sqeeking noise. I lube it up but it isn't noticaable if the radio is on.

I have the same problem but only when the temp. drops and its real cold.
When the weather is nice...No Problem. I asked them at the car dealer and
they said alot of people have the same issue. Eventually, it stops. [sm=signs007.gif]

Happened to me too. Drove me friggin' batty until I finally took it to the dealer. Wooooo, big fix -- they sprayed lube! I'm sure it'll return, but for now it's quiet.....well, that is except for the creaks and moans coming from the dash, the trunk, the door speaker.....

Where the lumbar portion of the back is my seat makes a pop and deflates in a little bit. Rather annoying and it makes my car feel like a piece of crap. But i do not want to bring it for them to fix something like that because i know it will get worse.

Same problem here. Talked to my dealer just before I put it away for the winter and they are going to look at it as soon as I get it out of storage.

I thought it was the trim caps on the seat rails. I greased them but didn't help. I think it's coming from the recliner mech.???

Make sure the seat belt receptacle next to the seat is all the way back. Mine was squeaking, thought it was the seat, but it was the receptacle rubbing against the seat/console. Still does it sometimes - as soon asI pull it back, it goes away.
