Very, very, very nice! As others have said, that hood combined with that grill and the removal of the fogs really make your car stand out. As if this car didn't already grab muscle car cues from the past, YOURS does even moreso now! Great choices and well done.

The hood looks fantastic, try using Dawn dishsoap which will take off all your wax,
if that does not work clay bar it next, that should take care of it completely.

To the OP........I really think that hood is awesome. I hope you're able to find a solution for the red-tinting.....let us know how it turns out.

vocoat, I may be missunderstanding you, but did the car have that reddish tint when you took it in to get the hood painted or did it come out of the paint shop with the Reddish tint? If the latter the shop may be responsible for it. Or was it even in the paint shop at all? There has been talk of a problem with some cars that were contaminated by airborne metalic particles in RR yards when the cars were being shipped and also stored for some time before shipment. Tiny rust colored spots appeared all over the cars. White would obviously be the color that would most prominently show this. I believe there was a TSB on it at one time though I'm not sure about that.

The car looks real good in the photos but the tint could ruin it for you unless you can get it out. If you cant get it out on your own, you should get the opinion of a quality shop.

Damn she looks good Vic. I love the hood, and that grill matches the louvers in the hood pretty good. Are you gonna keep that lower grill or go with a black billet there to?

I think I still liked the chin spoiler better when it was white though. One of these days i'll quit procrastinating and get mine painted.

I see a black SHR fuel door in your future. [sm=smiley4.gif]
