I'm still tossing around the idea of adding the dead pedal. I just wish ACC had put the same extrusions top and bottom on the dead pedal like they did on the gas pedal. I think that would cinch it for me....

Also just a note....
I saw a user on another forum that noted the bracket on the dead pedal was very close to a wire loom when connected. He had ground the edge down a bit, just for safety sake.....

Humbolt-Looks great!! Grats....

Yeah, there's definitely a thick loom in the channel.
I didn't even think about grinding the pedal.
It looks like it sits flat on top, and the mount is solid, so I think I'll be okay.

I got mine from the factory, included in the premier trim I think.
I love them!
I really like the dead pedal, it ties in well. I might have to pick one up.

What is a dead peddle?
It's the pedal on the left.
You use it to brace yourself through the turns, thereby giving you greater control, and you don't end up dead.

Seriously though, it's used as I described, but since it doesn't move, it's "dead".

have any of you guys noticed that it's REALLY junky and messy near the area of the pedals? i dropped a pen in my seat and got out of the car and was down in the pedal area and looked a little further and there was a lot of wire and mess, is there a cover for that? i feel like if my feet are wet, it'll just slide off the pedal and stab a wire or 2 and short something.

That, plus the fact that they cut the carpet so damn short......
