on ebay there's a seller, acc4parts, that sells the pedal sets minus the dead pedal for way below what you can buy them at retail. I either read it on here or another message board that this seller is the shop that produces these pedals for Ford so that's why they can sell them so cheap. I got my set for $36 and they put up a new set every week or so. AWESOME deal if anybody's looking for them.

Nice tip about the 409 to lube the pedals up for install. Wish I'd have thought of it. My fingertips were a bit raw after doing the installation (even with the hair dryer to heat the rubber) but they look so good!!

They look good, but I got rid of my GT500 pedals because the damn little rubber pieces tore up and started falling off of the clutch pedal. I didn't like the fact that I basically could only one pair of shoes (smooth bottoms). I purchased the Steeda pedals and love them.

have any of you guys noticed that it's REALLY junky and messy near the area of the pedals? i dropped a pen in my seat and got out of the car and was down in the pedal area and looked a little further and there was a lot of wire and mess, is there a cover for that? i feel like if my feet are wet, it'll just slide off the pedal and stab a wire or 2 and short something.
im glad to see im not the only one bothered by that.

i assume we're talking about the same thing:

mine looks like the one on the right. the one on the left looks like it has a cover. can you buy that cover?

Can you post a picture of the Steeda's in your car? I've always wanted to see them in a car.

yeah, once you take a look down there you kinda wish Ford had done a better job and charged us 15 bucks more for the carpet!

BTW, your pedals' arms are looking worn. Time to repaint?
