Do you guys think I should give it a few days to see if they will "wear in" and get quieter or just cut my losses and change them out?

Yup, I knew right away you were going to say you got the M FRPP gears as soon as I got the sense of a complaint... Very well known issue...

Trust me.....drove over 100 miles to get mine into the hands of modular depot.
ALL DAY INSTALL
Never could get them to stop and it was not MD's fault.
They got a tad bit quieter, but they still whine.

there will also be a M stamped into the ring gear
