Honestly I dont think you are any worse off than if you had 450rwhp. The key is to get a nice safe street tune and get the most you can out of 10psi. Whatever that number is be happy.

I like to drive my car alot all over the state/country so I will only get 91 octane tunes. This is so if I go someplace I cant get 93 I am safe, and the fact different gas stations fuel is not created equal. So I run a few degree's less timing than I could, I like the safety factor.

Honestly I dont think anyone would really miss 15rwhp at this power level.

Good luck

I am running 11 PSI on the stock engine.
My best trap speed was 120 MPH on a car/driver weight of 3950 so that calculates to 532.71 approximate RWHP with a HP calculator. I have not dynoed my current setup.
My car has 12,000 miles on it and sees about 50 1/4 mile track runs per year.
My motor has held together fine BUTI run 100 octane all the time.

one of my good friends had his tuned by mph over a year ago and runs 10psi he made 481rwhp and 460rwtq and it has done fine for over a year. anything under 500rwhp will be fine with a good tune as long as you dont beat on you car all the time.

400 rwhp should be good enough for the average Joe.

+1 on the 450-ish being a safe number, that certainly is the general consensus around here. I'm more than happy with the numbers I'm making, and like GT0405 said, no one would miss 15 hp at these levels anyway.

Our Whippled GT sits at 519rwhp on a stock motor and we drive the SH*T out of it (over 20K miles)...no boom yet, runs perfect

Ah, but you see you guys dont care if it blows, for that reason it never will. Motors only explode when you CARE if they do.

Case in point I had a friend that had the most beater 91 mustang GT you ever saw. We painted it flat black at his appartment complex. He ported the heads on his kitchen table with a dremel. Then he bought a used nitrous kit and ran a 125 shot. He got 39lb injectors at a swap meet but they only had 7, so he ran one cylinder with a 24lb injector. He sprayed nitrous all the time. The car ran perfect. Why did it work? Because he didnt care about it.

My luck I would grenade the engine if I looked at a nitrous kit.

Sorry wierd reference, but I believe in this thing called Murphy's Law.
