179 MPH 05 GT

I came across an interesting Edmunds.com article about the Vortech 05 GT test mule. With a taller fifth gear, supercharger and underbody air diffuser they got their GT up to 179MPH in one mile. I had always heard the S197 stangs were drag limited to around 150 or so. I guess not. Of course 575HP does help!

stock is drag limited so around there.....with more HP and different gears, anything is possible
