driver mod for wheelhop

RE: driver mod for wheelhop
Well, every car is different, so you just need to practice and see what works for you. That said, the stock LCA's and bushings are complete garbage, and no matter what you do, wheel hop will happen. Any LCA's out there with poly bushings will be a great improvement, no matter the brand. I personally choose BMR.

You might be able to just put Poly bushings in the stock LCA's if you're looking for a half-a$$ fix with relatively low cost. But if you are under there taking things apart, you might as well spend the $200 and get cheap control arms. It's worth the money imo. You can get the car to avoid wheel hop on launch, but in doing that you will be avoiding good launches as well [sm=lol.gif]
kill the wheel hop, don't avoid it!

Short of just slowing down on the launch there is going to be nothing other than buying a set of LCAs. BMR Fabrication sells a set of non adjustable LCAs for $134 and their billet LCAs are $230.

Here you go. $86.50 shipped. I know someone who has them, and they're just as good as anything else out there. They're great pieces at a great price.

Also, these are under $100 and don't need to be greased.

I personally think hop has a lot to do with just how lucky you get with geometry from the factory.
My car very rarely hops and if it does its very mild. That said bushing wear definately will increase it with age.
