The blue covers themselves are NOT illegal, but when you turn on the lights and emit a blue light, then you are illegal. However yours don't look dark enough blue to draw any attentiom/
I have had them on two blue Mustangs now, and in 3 years I have never had problem in Calif...... and mine are a much darker shade of blue
