My car has been out in some really bad storms, and I have never seen any water or felt any in the interior. I have checked quite a few times after reading all the posts, and I have not had that problem at all. 2008

I have a 2007 that sits outside and it doesn't leak. However, I do not drive it in the rain.

UPDATE: The salesman who was going to speak with the sales manager first thing in the morning called out sick and never relayed what had happened with my leaking car. I spoke with thesales manager and he calmed me down a little but not much. Hetold me that they would take care of the leak and have a loaner waiting for me.
Of course he wasn't there when I dropped off the car for the leak, and the service guy had no idea I was comming in andwas told they rental car place was closed and they only had a POS Windstar that they pick up parts in for a loaner.
I do not have a good feeling about this at all. I have no confidence in this dealership after talking to the service writer and the way the sales manager relayed the info about me comming in.
I am sure they will damage my car while "not being able to duplicate the problem".
I ended up with a 2007 loaded Edge for a loaner after talking to the "other" sales manager.
I have a feeling this is goingto drag on for many visits and going to suck real bad. I was asked if I left the window open 5 different times and was told that in bad storms water has a way of finding openings that wouldnt normally be a problem.
So far and am not real happy with my new Ford.

Thats exactly how I feel about the problem. [:'(]
My money didnt leak or get wet and self destruct.

There is a TSB on the leak issue.
https://mustangforums.com/m_4716290/tm.htm

Basically it is
leaking under the cowl area or
around some pinch welds or
thru an improperly installed wiring boot or
around the door seal trim area or
around the door to body wiring boot

They dont even know for sure. WTF Ford?

Well after reading all this talk about leaks, I had to go take one. Then, I went out and flooded the GT with a garden hose and washed it in the driveway. I tried to duplicate the angle water would be coming at me if I was driving in a toad strangling rain. Tried every different scenario and the end result was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Leaks!!! The GT spends it's nights in a heated garage but during the day, is exposed to some really harsh conditions. So far, so good.

Leak finding method from the Ford TSB:

Tape up the rear vents in the trunk area and put
the blower on high pulling in air from outside to
pressurze the cabin. Then go searching with
soapy water from outside to find the leak.

You can find the leakTSB plus some other S197 TSBs here:

Yea, I had read that TSB before. Only thing is, you can't find a leak if you don't have one, and you don't have one until you do.

It's go time.......supposed to rain for the next 24 hours. I guess we will see if the dealer fixed it. I gave the service writer a copy of the TSB for the leaks and also left a copyon the seat. The TSB mentioned all the possible spots for the leak and NOT to use silicone. Of course when I got the car back, the receipt said the leak was in a spot other than the onesthe TSB called out and that they used silicone to stop the leak. I have my doubts. They also scratched the crap out of the emergency brake handle and were supposed to call me back..... that was a week ago.

Dude ifI were you I would say NO to fixing it and demand your money back or another brand new car.
This is BS and Ford should have long fixed this issue.
A car that is 2 days old and 30 miles on and you have to deal with that crap is fin bull****!!

I am lucky that my 07 has never shown this problem, knock on wood, I feel bad for you and I hope every thing ends up OK.
Good Luck.
