Chipped Paint

Did some research and couldn't really find anything on here but I have a Black mustang and I guess the rocks were hitting the front of my car. It left some little white dots but no dents. It isn't like very noticable unless you are looking for them but now that I have seen them I can't help but look at them so any advice of products to get rid of these?

FRPP touch up paint?
Maybe use a paint burnisher first?
Avoid following too close to the
vehicle in front of you (tailgating)?

It's called driving on Interstate 81. Anyone near the VA area will tell you that its a tractor trailer highway and you will get rock damage occasionally. Last time I used the touch up paint that dealership has and it didn't look right I think I may have put too much on though.

Welcome to owning a black car my friend. Only way not to get them is not to drive it.[&:]

You can buy a clear plastic bra and they are very expensive however I've already bought a bra being that I've had my hood repainted 3 times. Or you can cuss and paint the chip or you can buy some turtle wax color magic that will help blend in the scratches because it has some kind of indigo contained in it.

Yea I don't think I will get a bra I think I will try to fix them. I have had it for 2 years now and its the first time this has really happend. There are some swirl marks that I will take car of with a clay bar next time I clean the carbut other than that been pretty lucky.

Had the same problem with my Infiniti way back when. Used black "turtle wax"and it came out looking great. Couldn't see any of the chips. However, doesn't last long so you'll have to reapply after a couple of weeks. Only wish I found out about it earlier as the spots always bothered me.
