Lucky you. I have 24k miles and already had the whole differential and driveshaft replaced, broken lumbar support, strut mounts replaced, squeaking steering wheel, creakingcontrol-arm bushing, and have just discovered that I have the infamous passenger-side water leak. Somehow though, I still love this freaking car.

Why not get a new mustang and give those problems to some one else? This isn't a 2nd world country where the economy does not work in your favor...

No worries. I found a good dealership who had dealt with the issues very well. That helps alot.

Well, I figure (knock on wood, cross my fingers, etc) the engine and tranny are rock solid, andI might not get that lucky with another car. Glass half full sort of thing I guess.

I just realized...
If you haven't changed your belt by now, it's over due[8D].
I think the manual says to do so at 60K miles.

Thanks red07Pony - As you can see from your list, there is really not much to do. I change the oil myself with synthetic every 4-5k, just put in a new cabin filter (easy), new fuel filter, new fuel pump under tsb, cooling system flush/fill.

Still need to do brakes, pcv, plugs and she'll be good for another 100k All kidding aside, I sell over the road so this car will be over 150,000 miles or more by Christmas. She's destined for a Ford advertisement.[8D]
