Ethanol in Gasoline = Engine Corrosion???

Ethanol in Gasoline = Engine Corrosion???
Now that most/all(?) gas is spiked with at least 10-15% ethanol, do we have to worry about how ethanol's ability to attract and hold water can possibly corrode our engines from the inside out? Will adding something like IsoHEET to every fillup help neutralize the water that comes with ethanol? I was thinking about this when I read this article:
"Ethanol contains water that distillation cannot remove. As such, it can cause major damage to automobile engines not specifically designed to burn ethanol." http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.pri...p;pageId=58631
What do you think?

10-15% ethanol has been used for years in the US.....everything seems to be okay so far, eh?
Don't worry about it, your car will die for some other reason before corrosion causes engine failure.

Ethanol has been mixed into gasoline for decades... Up to 15% is a non issue...

I don't make this stuff up.It was on the news just the other night. Auto makers are saying don't use 15%. What the greatest percentage of ethanol a regular engine can handle without modification? Without modification an engine can handle a 10% blend of gasoline and ethanol without risk of damage

The fuel system could probably handle E85, however the engine management wouldn't be able to adjust to it. Water has been in your fuel line pretty much the life of the car, with or without ethanol.
That is a serious FUD article right there.

Yeah I know the press loves raising issues they know nothing about... Don't forget these are the same people that last year were telling you that ethanol would save the world...
All the modern rubbers and soft goods being used in cars nowadays can handle it... You've probably been running up to 10% for years without even realizing it... Look for a little disclaimer sticker on the gas pump next time you fill up... I know here in Illinois they all say gas may contain up to 10% or however they word it... I don't know for sure if they mix it that way out there in Colorado but when I went to school in Wyoming in the late 80's we discussed it's use and it was a non issue then...
