Most HP possible

Keeping mostly stock internals, what would be the most HP possible for a mustang (GT or Shelby). Superchargered GT, Shelby with other mods?? Price is no option. Starting from stock, how would you build the ultimate beast?

i have heard its safe to keep right at 450,just get a whipple with a better pulley and a few bolt ons and u should be around 450, maybe just the S/C by itself

throw in a supercharger, build up suspension, add some breaks, put some new wheels and tires, exhaust, game over.

450 is the silver bullet number that the guys in the know quote often

well with my turbo i made around 480rwhp and 490rwtqon 9 psi and 530rwhp 555rwtqon 11psi but i only ran 11psi on the dyno i run 9psi all over the place and never had a prob out of it except tire spin everywhere at every speed lol

Yes, I was going to say turbo guys regularly see over 500 RWHP without issue.
I am pushing over 500 and never had any problems.

So some people feel its is very safe at 450 RWHP.

You can get these numbers just by adding any decent forced induction kit.
The KBs and Whipple will do 440-480 out of the box at 8 PSI and above.

ya if supercharged kb is the way to go. a friend of mine made 480rwhp and 449rwtq at 9 psi just a few days ago with the kenne bell 2.6h

If you are not going to change the bottom endthen I would stay around 450...if money is not an issue then I would change out the rods, pistons, crank, heads, cams, delete plates, get L/Ts and bigger throttle body. Not to mention all the OTHER things that will come with that amount of work. Once you go f/i you need to beef up the suspension to keep the wheels planted and the power going where it needs to go, brakes to stop that beast and a savings account for speeding tickets :D
