I have the same wheels. and I too am looking for wider. 255/45/18 is the best width for those wheels. Also the speedo will only be off less then a .5%. The total diamiter is very very close to the stock 235/50/18.

Now to chose a tire.

I think the Fanblades on the '08s w/ the darker paint inserts are some of the best looking wheels for the S197
Just goes to show - to each is own, because I can't stand them. The painted part looks like an afterthought to me.

Yea the 275's are deemed "unsafe" and it's a very tight fit on an 8inch rim but my friend has had 275's on since he bought the car and has never had any bad things happen with his car.

If price is a consideration, Riken (made by Michelin) is worth looking at, $107 each @ Summit Racing.
