Well if you take out the weak link of the transmission then what's next to break? A rod or the rear end I guess. Hope you have that rear end beefed up.

Not yet but I'll fix it when it breaks. My goal with this car is a all out race car / show There are a lot of good things in the future for my car. I just can't do it all at one time. I think 600 RWHP is the goal who knows really I change my mind daily.

And this is why I'm not moding my car for performance. At least you guys know what your doing and that means this sort of thing won't upset you too much. For me it would drive me nuts.

Right, and you did the CAI and tune for looks only. This is how it starts...

That is the truth!!! I started with an XCAL2 with BBK CAI. 2 months later supercharged another month later full exhaust. My car is a 2007 bought about 8 months ago.

I was well aware of the risks but once you start going faster you want more. Things should really only break once.

Figure I would update this thread. Adam from ST motorsports just spent several hours putting the finishing touches onmy tune and the car has never felt so great. Adam even tailored the tune to my likings. Everything is powerful and smooth. If you need a trans rebuild you should have it rebuilt by Tony @ larry's transmssion. Tony did awesome work and very knowledgeable, not to mention the great price. I was used to brenspeeds tune for so long I thought it would be impossible to find something better but Adam came through with flying colors.

I think it would be the best time to change to manual transmission?

Ok car is running awesome still waiting on a dyno but the one crusie-in I don't bring my camera to I take this picture. Larry's tranmission did an outstanding job building the tranny and Adam at S.T. Motorsports did an awesome job with the tune. A+ to both.
