What is diff b/t FMS-M-4209-G410*, G410A, G410M ?
Hey guys,
Quick question for the ring and pinion crowd.
Currently have 4.10s, need to buy another set. The gears I have have the FMS-M-4209-G410A code on the box. Can someone decode this for me? FMS=Ford motor sport
M= manual
4209=?
G410= 4.10s
Don't know what the *, A, or M stands for. I heard the M means Motive. I need to have genuine FRPP gears so I can maintain a warranty through a local Ford dealer, they said no motive gears.

M stands for Motive. That is what you need to stay away from in my opinion. They are the ones everyone complains about whining.
