Default My new Mods and pictures from solo cruise to Lake George.

Alright, I got my exterior mods on the car Friday (1/4 window louvers, mirror covers, polished Billet fuel door, legend lime registry numbers) and today I took a solo cruise up to Lake George, NY to take some pictures and ease my mind on some things. When I got up there, I was surprised with the amount of snow remaining, as down in Albany there's nothing left of winter.

Enjoy looking at the pictures, the entire area was a ghost town.

Staff parking lot at the Great Escape amuesment park.

From a motel next to Great Escape. They're in the middle of painting the once green and white coaster red and yellow.

The Sagamore Resort and Hotel, one of the most fancy and posh destinations in Upstate NY. I was actually looking to turn around in the parking lot here, and sort of intentionally "got lost" looking for the way out. Next thing I know I'm on a gravel road that leads to the side of the hotel that faces Lake George, and I'm obviously not supposed to be there because it's definately a pedestrian walkway in resort season. But, I liked the location, and figured I might as well take as many pictures as possible there before security decided to give me a visit. As I was leaving, I passed a security SUV at the entrance to the walkway, and they gave me the stare down, good fun.

Fort William Henry and the southern tip of Lake George. This area holds the largest concentration of visitors in season because of the steam boat rides, fort, beach, and shops.

Thanks for taking a look everyone, Lake George is a beautiful and exciting place with tons to do in summer, but I actually liked the ghost town feeling. Plus, most of these pictures aren't possible to set up in the summer.

Nice pics. We referr to that kind of snow as a heavy frost.

Thanks for the comments guys. Where exactly is the "Firehouse" 99flhr? I'm too young for the beer, but I would've appreciated the burger!

Nice pics.
I don't think I'll ever take a snap shot at my car with snow in the back ground[8D].

That made me laugh hysterically.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Pascal, if you want, I'll send you a handfull of snow somehow so you can take a picture of your car with snow it in (even if it's a melting snowball)

Wow, awesome venue for a photo shoot and quite surreal with it being abandoned yea?
