I've hit 110 and frankly was happy for the time being. Not much room in eastern mass to fly faster than that. Got my Escort radar detector built under the hood and sensors on the back. Worth every penny. If you like to speed I suggest you invest in one.

his "car" is "stock"! even if your going down hill, the car runs out of gearing/hits redline before 160. and how would you know that your doing 160 the spedo only goes to 145.

1) Speedo goes to 240 kph (which is about 150)
2) I have a pic that I took from inside my old SRT-4 doing around 145, so it's not hard to take a pic and prove it to your buddies that don't beleive you.
3) I wish someone WOULD post a pic of them doing "max" speed because I will be racing my buddy in a month that still has his SRT-4 and I'm afraid his top end will beat mine. Off the line I expect to win, but from a rolling start it could go either way, depends on the gear/speed.

Seems this guy is going to remove himself from the gene pool soon enough. I've read in more than a few places that the computer shuts the car down at 142 anyway. Unless he';s talking about kph. 160 kph is about 90 mph I think.

My speedo doesn't look like that at all, what the heck was that from? I guess I should have said "max speed of a stock 05 GT".
I haven't seen him in 2 years, so we have a bunch of catching up to do. I have a few spots of dead highways for higher speed races that no one really patrols. Nebraska has lots of spots like that. If we crash I guess it will be the last time we see each other, at least on this side
