Has anyone gone with a larger tire diameter on a 20-in wheel? I think the standard is 27-in. I don’t like the low profile look, but like the larger wheels and would like to fill the wheel well. What are the disadvantages of going to a 30-in tire diameter, besides the speedometer would be off.

lower final gear ratio was my downside to larger tires/ wheels. you're better off getting some lowering springs to fill out the wheel weel. will make the car look alot better.

I got 28's but there on a 15" Bogart so I don't think that would count!

I got 28's on 17's for the track and 18's for the street. No noticible decline in performance here. 28's plus pro-kit=sex!

30 is probably too much. Something in the 28-29 range will look good. That's where a 275-40 or 305-35 puts you on a 20 inch wheel.
