That key is bigger than you think, my wife has an Edge, and I hate having the keys in my pocket. It is cool to use though, but it is a very large key.

I've seen one before, my brother brought home a Fusion that had this key. I didn't think it was too bad. I definetly think I'll like it more than the current key.

Don't get me wrong, I love the key and how it works. I may consider this too, but my problem was I tried putting my wifes Edge key on my key chain was liking having a softball in my pocket

I would do this if I didn't already have my electronic fob on a chain, and in that coin pocket on my jeans, with the rest of my keys in the actual pocket. Talk about low profile!

I have an 07 and might be looking into getting one.
I already have 4 keys programmed and dont know
what the limit is on the amount of keys you can
have programmed at one time.
I believe it is 4 keys and 8 remotes unless thedealer
unlocks the PCM to allow endless numbers of PATS
programmed keys

8 remotes, including up to 4 of these keys is the limit.

If you're interested, you might wanna buy now. I have a distinct feeling that these puppies are going to skyrocket. Just 2 days after the subject was started, the keys are already going up in price.As with the GT500 bumpers, Bullitt parts, etc..., once Ford figures out there's an after market for these things, they'll raise the price.

I'm the OP at the other thread, the key should work on all 07 and 08's, like it was mentioned Job 1 cars work also, works on PJs and Saleens as well. Watch out though because the prices are going up.

How did you find out that they worked? Your post was the first post I've seen in a long time about it.

Just gave it a shot, I found one post on a forum (don't remember which one) and the person said it worked on his 08.

I got my key today. I'm going to run up to Home Depot tomorrow during my lunch break to see if I can get them to cut the key. It is a bit bigger than I expected, but I'm still pretty excited to try to get this to work.
