I have an intermittent rattle underneath all that plastic.
Has anyone disassembled their auto console?
I don't want my dealer to touch it and I should probably just live with it, but........
Any disassembly help would be appreciated.

The noise may not be in the console, it may be underneath the car. Check the exhaust hanger brackets on the crossmember. Tap them with a hammer, see if one of them makes the noise. If it does, bend it a little. That should do it.

Would TSB 06-04-01 cover it? The TSB does address rattle from the gearshift area... The TSb is for 05-06, not sure the year of your stang. Let me know if you need a copy of teh TSB.

Yep, I think I have that noise, too. Ive got an o/r H pipe and flows. Just about everything in my car rattles when its cold out.
