I've been reading that there aren't any mounting locations for front splash guards on the S197. Has anyone tried a custom guard up front? I'm thinking something low-profile like the shelby guards in the rear.

I saw a post before but I know you can modify the rear GT 500 splash guards to fit the front... maybe drill another hole or something, cant find the post but I think 06elnr has some on the front of his....

I put them on mine. I used the rocker mounting clips and Had to drill 1 hole to mount them. Had to take tires off to do it but I think it is well worth it.

Any pics? I realy need front splash guards, driving to work every day my car gets hit by dirt and rocks on the sides. It would be nice to divert them.

I was thinking of using a pair of the flat ones on the front. But a set that is hard plastic would look and work much better.

I have these on my stang. Got them from Yeager Bros. They clip on the rear and the front clip on as well but you have to also remove those push rivits that hold the lower molding, mount the flap and replace the rivits. Here are pictures of the front & rear.

I bought mine (flat ones )at Advanced Auto Parts and used the existing holes and clips.

Got mine at Advanced too. Used the existing clips to put them on.I will try and get some picts.
