Installed Steeda CAI and Tune
And my 2008 GT rides like a different car, its much better. In fact I have seen 22MPG overall which is an increase for my mix of highway and non-highway of approximatly 2 miles.
My car seems much quicker off the line and sounds like a muscle car.
I'm done with mods as you can see my my sig I don't have many and finally I'm happy with my car. I also did the shorty antenna and black bullet fuel door. In 3 years when I'm ready to trade in/sell I'm selling it with the few mods I did.
I have read on these fourms that some folks have had bad luck with the steeda CAI and SCT tuners but mine was great. Definitly a worth while upgrade and one I did myself. I saved the factory one but likely won't be putting it back in.

Actually, from the posts that I've read, the Steeda probably has been themore trouble free of the CAI's as far as installation goes. Other than that, there's not much that can go wrong (with the exception of overtightening the clamps).
Glad to hear you like the upgrade. BTW, who's tunes did you get? I've heard the canned Steeda tunes don't hold a candle to the custom Brenspeed, Bama, VMP and Evolution tunes, to name a few.

The tune I got was from American Muscle, it works fine.
What has me even more excited is that on the parkway (which was empty, its a holiday and Sunday) I ended up racing what appeared to be a newer 350Z from the entrace ramp. He could not keep up and we were both trying. I wonder how I would do against an NISIMO now. I lost a qtr mile against one and that was before the CAI.

Awesome to hear you beating the 350Z. I traded in my Nissan yesterday for a 2008 GT/CS!
I'm installing Corsa's on mine tomorrow night and had planned on getting the Steeda CAI in a few months. Glad to hear it's working well for you!
