08ELEANOR,

Your Mustang is awesome! The combination of the Cervini kit and the color Vapor really makes it look hot! The Cervini kit is a very nice looking kit. I was considering the Cervini kit for my mustang but my concern was that it would cause ground clearance issues. Apparently, this is an issue that you are having and with the stock ride height. After researching different body kits, I went with the FORD Shelby GT/ California Special kit. My mustang is lowered 1.5" all around and experience minimal issues with ground clearance. Perhaps, you should consider changing it? Nah! Your car looks too darn hot! Tough call!

I think I have solved my problem with taller side wall (40 series) and than lower it in the back 1.25 inches with the Steeda springs....Plans are in the near future....give it a try and it will look mean as hell (more than it already is) and prevent the scrape (or minimize it!). I have no scraping issues in MI but have worries about my front bumper cover with certain steep driveways into plazas. I hate driving slow as well..... J

Only the hood and the rest is urethane.

Sucks to hear about your problem. Has it messed anything up yet? Paint or whatnot? I still don't know if I want to lower mine.

I lowered the rear 1.5" with Eibachs......have the 275/19/40s on mine and have a lot of the same bumping issues......but not quite as bad as you describe. I did NOT lower the front as Cervini recommends.

Thats good that its not fiberglass...that stuff would have cracked a long time ago if it was...fiberglass doesn't hold up well to a lot of punishment...

After having my Cervini front bumper installed, I definitely had to change the way I approached certain angles (inclines, driveways, and speedbumps).......but I honestly have only scraped the front twice. Each time it was driver error.....had I approached the incline a little differently I wouldn't have had any issues. I remember cringing and being so worried when I looked underneath to check the damage........couldn't even tell one thing had happened! (gotta love urethane~!)

Once I started getting more used to the way the car sets now, I became more confident while driving and now it isn't really an issue at all.

Your car looks very nice! good luck! saddle ~
