Brenspeeed does it for 650 install and tune, Lamotta in floridavery reputable does installal and tune for 1000. thats rip off imo
I talked to Brenspeed probably a year or so ago, they told me $650 was for the Saleen. they also said the Vortech was $800 and the Paxton was $1400.

was not aware it was only for the saleen from them, my bad. either way thats a rip off.[8D]

Ive been still deciding on a supercharger, I had my mind made up on a procharger but after hearing a couple of them I dont like the sound. So now its the twin screw sound I perfer. Anyways, either one I choose I will be installing myself . Ive been talking to a local shop hear called Nelsons Performance and they have informed me that if I want a tune when Im done to check what the SC kit comes with it will cost me a 1000.00 . Is this normal ? Or is the guy just POed because I can get the same price on a SC as him.
$1,000 is total BS

He must be pissed.

What a punk! [:@]

That's what I paid.. $850 for the install, $150 (3 1/2hrs) for installation of gauges, $400 for dynotune 2hrs, and I got the 60# injectors with a tune installed for $50 + tax =$1500 even

ORIGINAL: mygt500

Try someone else I can see half that for a certain number of pulls (say 3 w/tuning) with a wideband A/F monitoring the car and adjusting the tune accordingly. My install and dyno tune was $1500 and many thought that was steep but I also have 60# injectors and it took about 90 mins for the 3 pulls!
