Default Drilled&Slotted Brake Rotors

I've been researching drilled&slotted brake rotors. lots of pros & cons. Mostly cons ....like stress cracks at the holes or wearing out quicker than the normal solid rotor. My GT is in for a supercharger install for the next few days. I talked with my mechanic about drilled&slotted rotors. I park the car for winter mostly highway driving & no heavy duty brake use. he said with my use I could get by with the drilled/slotted rotors. So mainly for "looking pretty" I'm going ahead with the new look. if I put 5,000 miles on during my driving season that will be a lot. i have 18' 5 "spoke" aluminum wheels, 3/4" hub centric wheel spacers and painted calipers.............pics to be posted soon
