93 octane and no tune?

Default 93 octane and no tune?

is it o.k. to run 93 octane with no cold air intake and no tune. all stock except for gta axlebacks.

There's no performance gains if that's what you mean. There's even been some threads on the forum that running higher octane than what you're tuned for can be detrimental over time.

just want it in there cause it is not my daily driver and i will be doing something here soon in performance mod.

your manual says 87 octane......this is what the engine was programmed to run on....will 93 hurt? probably not, unless you take it to the stealership when something goes wrong because they will QUICKLY blame it on the higher octane to avoid any repairs,,,,,,have fun

I believe the 08 stangs will "adapt" to higher octanes... yours will not. You are pretty much wasting money.

If the upcoming performance mod is not something that requires premium fuel, continuous use of the higher octane won't do anything that a tank every now and then wouldn't. I'd expect the exhaust gas temperatures to be slightly higher with premium-grade fuel in a regular-fuel engine than with regular fuel in the same engine (or with premium fuel in an engine that actually does require it).

it was said in here to use 2 tank fulls of 93 b4 you add cai and 93 tune.
