Touched mine up with black paint. No worse for the experience. Holding up well. Rust has not returned. If it does I'll hit it again.

I used the stuff that turns rusted metalblackand can be painted. It stops the further rusting of the metaland just makes the item look semi-flat black. I sprayed all the underside items that were raw metal and hand brushed the crank pulley and power steering pump. It does makeeverything look muchbetter. I agree that this seems like a lazy way to build a car and makes Ford look cheap. I have had 2 vintage Mustangs (a 1966 & 1970), neither of which looked like this, and they were 28-42 years old.

I just got done doing my Hurst install and I was amazed at how clean the undercarriage was doing after a winter in Germany. I had y underside Ziebarted and it seems like its doing a damn good job. Anyone else have theirs sprayed I got it with the car and was just curious....

I do know they have a Billet polished aluminum one that increases boost by almost 1 psi without upgrading to another size belt! I will look for a link! Works with the 8-rib belt kits out there and the standard non -FI 4.6L 6 rib !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Link but it is expensive but for show and a little increase in boost on FI applications it is worth it IMHO! J
