275/45/20 will they fit all around?
Hi guys and girls,
As a proud owner of an '07 GT, and lurker on the boards here for the last few months, I have my first question that I cannot find an answer for!!
I have 4 brand new 275/45/20 tires sitting in my garage just waiting to be put on something. (long story) Looking on Tirerack today I saw they have some nice 20" rims for the mustang 20x10 with 50mm offset for $109 a piece!!! They also have 20x9 45mm offset for $139 a piece.
So - I know that the 275/45/20 tires have a diameter of 29.8" compared to the stock 27.2" - so I'll have to recalibrate the speedo, and they will increase the overall ride height a little. But, they would certianly fill the wheel wheels! (I haven't lowered the car - yet!)
These will mainly be for looks - when I (rarely) go to the track I'll be going with some 17" M/Ts ... when the wife ok's the supercharger purchase that is! For under $500 I might be able to convince her that this would be a 'good way' to use the tires for now
So my questions are:
1) Will these tires fit front and rear, or will I run into tire height problems in the front? I don't really have a good way to test this right now....
2) If the tires will fit, could I run the 20x10 rims in both the front and rear? or would I need to stay with the 20x9 for clearance?
Many thanks in advance for any help/guidance you can give!!

Thanks for the quick reply!
Anybody else know if this can be done??
(asking forgiveness for a $500 purchase is a lot less likely to have me sleeping in the Mustang than asking forgiveness for a $500 purchase that does not fit!! LOL [:@])
