WOW @ new suspension!!!! UPDATE!! A FEW PICS ADDED!
It's literally a totally different car! I can't believe how the power actually hits the ground, and doing so without much tire spinning. I can definitely here the rear end humming at me, more than likely due to all the rod ends. Surprisingly, I don't have much more vibration than I did before. The ride is a little stiff, but the D-specs are set at 4 turns from hard like Tokico reccommends starting at; I'm sure if I softened them up a little more the ride would be a little smoother. I'm not sure if it's the driveshaft, the stiffer suspension, or a combination of both, but the car seems to feel lighter (not in weight), almost like it just jumps or launches from a stop. I'm sure the fat meats add into the equation too. I was hesitant on getting the Pentar wheels because they're a little heavy, but they sure do look goodIMO. The tire and wheels weigh about 58-59 pounds each, compared to the stock 17's and tires were only 48 pounds. Oh well, sometimes you have to give a little to gain a little.I was a little worried about the wide tires making the car weave and swurve all over the road, but teh car moves in a pretty straight line.
I need to jack the car up again and check my torque settings again to make sure nothing moved in the 50 or so HARD miles I just put on her. Then I'll take her to the alignment shop. Hopefully get her washed, and I will TRY to post some pics this weekend.
