The biggest would be 305/35/20, but you were probably asking about the widest.. The widest 18 is a 335/30/18. I don't think that one fits under the car properly. There is a guy locally who has the 305/45/18, and I plan to switch to the 305/35/20 when I burn off the 285/30/20 555's on there now..

What's the widest you can get for a 17x9 rim? How far would it stick out?

315/35/17. It might stick out a little bit. I know the 305 looks just right, so the 315 might be a little wide, but not too bad. How far it would stick out depends on the backspacing of your wheel.

I was thinking about doing the 315/35/18 after im done with the BFG's. I have a 10inch rim

I looked on americanmuscle and they recommend 10.5" for 315/35/17.
Widest one available for 9" is 275/40

Well if you want to go realllly crazy, how about getting some Nitto Invo 345/25/20 [8D]

I've been using the 304/45-18 for a long time and they work and look great.

If I had a 17" rim though (or if they made an 18") I would have the M&H racemaster on the car without a second thought.

Hands down the M&H are the best hooking DR out there without question. Couple guys cutting 1.4x 60's with them (Psfracer for one) and drive on them everyday.
