Default straight pipes muffler delete?

im looking to take my flowmasters off to hopefully get some more sound out that back. i dont want to buy new pipes cause i prob wont have the mufflers off for too long. would i be hurting the car if i ran it with no mufflers? has anyone done this? any sound clips or vids? thanks

I'm no expert, but there's no harm if you don't have mufflers. The only thing I can think of is that you could have more drone inside your car because the sound is going tobe under your car and not being transfered out the back.

It sounds like crap in my opinion, we took the axlebacks off the car and started it with just the h pipe, sounded like some nasty glasspacks

I cut the muffler off at the axle and had a fabricated pipe with slats inside welded on. It's not too loud and a bit deeper. But for a GT, I think it would be too obnoxiously loud and a lot of drone if you're just chopping off the muffler. If it's temporary and you don't mind the sound for a bit, I don't see the harm though.

I don't have any videos of the mufflers off, but the SLP LM'S should sound pretty close to the same except alot less drone.
Here are a couple good videos of the SLP LM'S.
