Expect 8 peak HP, and a nice idle, and less MPG, from a NSR lightly modified cam.
you has obviously not read any threads with the brenspeed NSR cams

Several people over on TMS have had these installed and dynod by brenspeed and gained about 20 HP from them......and the cams will keep the numbers from falling off after peak which is a big plus for track use.

Its a little more than 700....maybe 900, i mispoke

If your S/C'd I think they're a good bang for the buck. I had Brenspeed install mine and I was really happy with the outcome. You'll lose around 2 miles to the gallon. On my car the big difference is definetly in the higher rpm's, my buddy and I race all the time, and he was usually just a little quicker. With the cams, the car just blasted past in 4th. It's quite noticeable from 4000 to 6500 rpm. The dyno sheet is on Brents site, my car is the one at the top of the customers section, you can see the gain on the dyno sheet. H.P. per dollar is pretty good, compared to other mods I've done.

I'll say they're good tires and stick pretty good... They have 25K miles in them and they won't go more than 5K more miles.

Thanks for the feedback, I just installed aset but won`t have the car out till spring.

Howermatt & Phatphil, thanks for the graph and comments.
These answer my questions back in post #3.
Power and torqueis actually less with these cams until approx 4200 rpm. Gains 4 to 6 k are impressive though.
Good idea for "racers" but not for me. Thanks again!

It looks like to me that the bigs lost in power is at 3k, with the loss of 7hp and 15tq. by 3.5k the lost is 3hp and 7tq, then by 4k everthing is pretty much even. If you have gears I don't see any issue. It my help me because I have trouble getting grip at low rms.

I agree that other mods will make the graph much different down low.......gears are essential IMO

I want to get this cams. I hope I'll have some money next year after I get married. Sometime I wish I was single.

This graph was on a car that only had an intake. I wounder how much power my car could gain?
