Default question about gta exhaust

I am really looking into purchasing a set of ford racingGTA axlebacks, what kind of power gains can i expect, do they flow as good as for example bassanis or jba's or are they closer to stock as far as exhaust flow is concerned.

Thanks

you won't gain any horsepower from axle backs

they're just for sound

yeah, no gain worth mentioning.

you'll be lucky to even notice a difference in sound with the GTAs, they sound stockish to me.

No power gains, but they sound deeper than stock, and significantly louder at WOT. At cruise, no difference.

Louder than stock at first start...a bit louder (not much than stock) crusing....Zero HP gains...

I think you'd better schedule a hearing test if you barely notice a difference- they actually sound significantly deeper and louder at 1/2 throttle and WOT- though they're just as "quiet" as stock when cruising (best of both worlds!).
I'm wondering if you have the shaker 500 or 1000 and crank up the volume in that tiny confined space (will cause significant hearing loss ove time- especially if you get that "ringing in your ears" afterwards!)?

I've noticed some websites are claiming gain in rwhp for axle-backs on GT500's... about 10-14... Is that true?

Considering it's supercharged and any better air flow would help.

Yeah, they do look good! Nice low rumble at idle, and a pretty good roar at WOT, especially with a CAI.

A potential drawback is the lower grade of stainless steel - mine are showing rust around the seams with about 10,000 miles on 'em.

love mine had flowmaster axel backs to much drone. The gta's get louder with age and have a nice rumbel. Call me crazy but the car seems to have more low end torque i think i lost a little low end with the flows.
