Does Shelby GT use standard GT LCA's?

Does Shelby GT use standard GT LCA's?
I'm thinking about doing Roush rear springs on my 06 GT. I've read the millions of threads and debates on the need/no-need for adj. panhard and lca's. So that got me thinking- the Shelby GT is lowered, but I have never read anywhere that it has upgraded lca's. So if the Shelby GT is lowered and still uses standard GT lca's, doesn't that pretty much mean that Ford/Shelby feel the pinion angle change is minimal and acceptable? I have no problem with the adj panhard, but I don't really want to mess with the lca's if I don't have to - I don't race, and this is my daily driver, so I don't want to increase NVH if I don't have to.

Well, to me, that seems to seal the deal - with regards to pinion angle, adj. lca's are not necessary when lowering the car by 1.5 inches or less. Anyone care to convince me otherwise?

most people dont correct the pinion angle for spring changes, some do........they get new LCAs because the factory ones are **** and if you get a new DS, you will need to have adj then, so if you get LCAs you might as well get adj for all future mods too

So, if I'm not planning on a new driveshaft, and I'm just lowering 3/4 - 1 inch in rear to even out the wheel gap, no adj lca's needed in your opinion?

for 3/4 to an inch no i wouldnt get them for the PA.......i would replace them for the simple fact they are weak and new ones help stop wheel hop and help put power to the ground

This is a great post written by CrazyAl.....you dont have to have adj LCAs, you can also use adj UCA
Your PA might be ok for the 1 piece DS with stock suspension, in the write up you can see where you PA should be and if yours is correct......now if you do not have any vibrations up to 120 with the new DS then yours is probably ok. This is the reason more people need to change the angle, they get vibrations from the new shaft
