My spoiler store purchase was a great deal, and I would get theirs again if I had another Stang to put it on.
+1 with Ken. I would buy again, no doubt. I will say, I also drilled the two additional outer holes in the trunk lid. After having set the spoiler in place without attaching it, and having done that several times to stripe the spoiler, there was no doubt in my mind that I would never go back to the factory spoiler. Even if I changed from this one, I would go with some other sort of ducktail or something, so no fear for me in drilling the extra holes. The spoiler store includes a drilling "jig" if you will, with the shipment. Makes the outer hole drilling fairly easy, and it can be done well ahead of the point of attachment....Here's a pic for those wondering about the outer holes, and the un-used factory holes. You can see that the 3M tape partially covers the extra factory hole.

I think the biggest problem here is you took off the better looking GT spoiler for the subdued GT500 spoiler

go ahead and take your shots now, im ready!

red + locktite + drain + plug = ? [8D]

anyway, i've been wanting a GT500 spoiler for a long time now, and the parts guy at the dealer said they are $300 (and I'm guessing thats not painted) for the OEM, so $100 for the spoiler store looked pretty good to me

so is there a gap or something? pics would be appreciated
[sm=bustedsign.gif][sm=funnypostabove.gif] dont want to encourage this but you did ask for it! Funny! J

Mine is on straight but I mounted it half-*** lol. It was so cheap if it gets messed up I'll just buy another! Honestly $100+ painted is such a bargain and it looks really good.

I have to agree that the stock GT pedestal spoiler is a better fit for some applications. In my case, I am going for the retro look of the flat black stripes, flat black chin spoiler, and eventually the flat black shaker scoop in the hood. The GT pedestal spoiler in flat black was the best choice for my application. I like the GT500 spoiler if you're keeping it the same color as the car, but it would look terrible in flat black on anything that is trying to achieve the retro look by using flat black.

+1, My tape on the passenger side was painted over and I just said F-It and didnt even bother... I've had it up to 150mph more than once and its still attatched to the trunk lid of my car... Don't see a problem.
The problem is you are going TOO DAMN FAST!!! 150mph on any public road is insanity. Gonna be hard to enjoy your Stang if you're DEAD!
Not trying to hate on you, bro. Just slow the f--- down.
