I've read that there were to be 7,700 Bullitts, green and some black. I've heard that production has stopped, but I can't document it. Thanks in advance if someone has details....

I'm, not sure how many will be black. Based on what I'm seeing on Ebay auctions they are still rolling off the line. The highest number I've seen is 3893 on a VIN of 186,595. I have also seen the 2009 dealers ordering guide which shows the Bullitt package which would mean they either don't think they can make them all this model year or they are going to make more than the 7700 originally projected.

i work at aai the plant that builds the mustang and we are still rolling off 08 bullits, we start building the 09's in june

I saw a black one at my dealer...was inside installing FRPP stingers on my 07 GT/CS when they drove it outside...

Its too quiet IMO! Isn't it supposed to sound like the GT390 in the movie??
