Chirping in 2nd gear...how??
 

I have a 5pd standard in my 2005 stang, the car is complety stock with the exception of SLP LM's. I watch video's on youtube and i always see guys chirping their tires when going into second gear. How do you do this? Am i not shifting fast enough?...or is it from like poping the clutch out? This is my first car and which comes with the my first standard, so it's a dump question. Thanks

Before my car was supercharged I could even chirp third. Just practice shifting quickly

get your rpm's up and shift quiclky.........my car has a sweet spot going into 2nd and will light the tires up

I can chirp into second very easily. Third is a little more difficult, but I can usually do it. I could chirp into second easily even when stock.

I find it impressive that the automatics can chirp into 3rd with just an intake and tune. ;)

Gosh, I can't remember when I "chirped" second... now all it does is spin violently and swerve into the other lane fish tailing untill I chirp third. he, he, he...... dang that CAI/tune CMDP Off road X pipe.. It'll do it everytime

Just get to about 5500 RPM's and shift into second as fast as you can and "pop" the clutch.. You'll get it!

My stock automatic could spin 1st and chirp second. With my current mods I can spin 1st and 2nd, and a little of third. [8D]

Autos aren't as crappy as they're made out to be.

I love pulling up at a stoplight and having some jackass in a rice-mobile ask me "You drivin' an auto, p*ssy?" The look on his face at the next light after I completly destroy his Civic/GTI/Eclipse is worth all the crap auto drivers take.

These cars are so detuned from the factory its crazy. Its amazing what a cai and tune can do. I spin and fishtail into second even with 285 nitto nt55's with18x10 rimsout back.

I can't even imagine. I can spin them pretty good stock with 3:31's.
