I'd say the best gripping tires you can drive on everyday are the Nitto 555's. I just picked some up about 2 weeks ago and love them. I've driven on wet and dry surfaces and got traction on both. I was alittle skeptical at first with the rain, but we had it 5 days straight and I didnt have one problem.

Thanks guys I think I will just wait till these wear out and I buy my new wheels. I wish there were more tires available in the 27-28" sizes.

Before I decided on getting the C series kit, I was going to send my wheels out to weld wheels, and have the frontdecreased to 17x6.5, and the rears widened to 17x9.5. True sleeper, but I decided to build the car for show and go.
