RE: THOSE WITH PAINTED CDC CLASSIC CHIN...COME ON IN
[hr]I was pulling out of a buddy's tiny *** driveway last fall and scraped the area up where the chin spoiler would go. Instead of fixing the bumper I'm just gonna throw a chin spoiler on and be alot more careful.

And why can't I post images on this site. It drives me crazy!!!
Paint it and change the front turn signals and rear side markers (depends on your color).

I'm having mine painted for the third time in 3 years. The first time, the paint started chipping. My friend's driveway is steep and every time I go into the driveway the spoiler scrapes. The second time it was painted, the painter must not have done a good job. After just one season, the paint started chipping and flaking off by itslef. This year, I'm having it painted for the third time. This time, I'll put the 3M clear bra on before I put it back on

Here's a pic of mine 1 yr after install.. still looks as good as it did day1. I probably paid more than most to get it painted by a top-tier body shop ($200), but then put on multiple coats (+ clearcoat). After I let it breath for a month, I had the stripes installed, then after those cured, had a 3M clear bra installed over that. Wipes right off... no nicks from rock as that 8mil 3M film is pretty d*mn tough. Can recommend this XPel 3M clear bra enough.. it has saved me a bunch of chips. So far, the small road debris just bounces right off.
