What if you have an 08 mustang but dont have the option with the 6 gauge information system. Does the car still have the tire pressure censors?

It took them an extra 2 hours to just swap the bands and charged me 35 bucks per tire to do them not to mention the 60 dollars for the new bands from americanmuscle. PITA.

About $500 worth of unnecessary crap and complexity, mostly because a few dimwits (I really don't feel like being PC about this particular issue) got got caught with underinflated tires on their Explorers a few years ago and paid the big price.
About half of that $ is tied up the sensors themselves, which are subject to being damaged if sufficient care is not taken whendemounting/mounting your tires.
Brief personal and somewhat anecdotal experience suggests that larger amounts of balance weights are apt to be necessary.
For anybody wishing to maintain one set of wheels/tires for the winter and a separate set for the other three seasons, that amount of $ buys two top-shelf tires out of the first four.
I find it more than a little insulting that this has been forced on us without any possibility of "opting-out".The personal implication is that I'm arbitrarily and capriciously considered to be no smarter and no more observant than the least competent driver in the country.

I dunno if it's just me, but when I put on my new rims, I said meh, screw it, didn't have them do anything with the bands, just took off the OEM's, tossed on the new ones, and drove away. The light comes on everytime I turn on the car, but disappears after about 10 blinks. Doesn't bother me one bit.
