Default Quality of Street Scene Crappy?

Ok, i decided on the Front Bumper that i wanted. So i go to this Local S197 Shop and ask him if he has this Front bumper from Street Scene.
Well he tells me the quality of Street Scene is just god awful. He shows me the Eleanor Grill and i have to admit it looked like chicken scratch compared to an original ford grill.
But, im looking at the front bumper and i dont know if i really want that bumper now, im kind of leaning toward te Boy racer front bumper but you got to have the Fenders for those to make the bumper fit. (this guy says he knows the president of 3dCarbon and there trying to make it where you dont need the fenders.)

So my question is, does anyone here have any Street Scene front bumper or products, if so what is your comments on them.

My gen1 bumper is getting painted as we speak and is going on tomorrow morning, I will let you know how it goes. I have not heard any complaints about the gen1 bumper though and plenty of people have it.

i have the street scene eleanor grill and its great, it seems to be made of more heavy duty material than the stock. i would definitely recommend it.

This owner of the shop, he's a pretty good con artist, i dont know if he's just saying that street scene has bad quality to get my money on the more expensive items or if he's being for real though, so i dont know

Sounds like your S197 Shop wants to sell you his product. The bodyshop should let you buy the parts and have them delivered straight to them if need be. They prep and paint what you want.

I'd get a second opinion at a different body shop before I commit.

+1.

The place that just did all the work on my car was like "Get whatever you want, have them ship it here, and we'll make it pretty".

The "first generation" SS grills were somewhat crappy in fit.
But the "second generation" out of the new molds is far superior
from the OEM grill it replaced. And the fitment of the fogs was dead
on compared to some of the other center fog light aftermarket grills
that require bending of sheetmetal for proper fit. [:@]

That ol boy wants to sell you his stuff if he calls StreetScene "crappy" in quality.
