Default Steel or Aluminum flywheel?

Time to upgrade my clutch. I went with a spec 3+, but I am waffling over which flywheel would be better. Any thoughts?

The motor is built as follows:

Stroker 5.0
Stage 3 heads
Comp Cams Stage 3 cams
LT's
Vortech w/3.12 pulley (14-15) psi
4.10 gears

A billet steel flywheel with give you alot more torque from a dead stop on the track because of al the rotating mass to carry you out. A lightweight aluminum will be better once your moving because of less rotating mass so you will have a little more top end power.

The spec clutch is going to be hard on your stock tranny because of its such sharp engagement and just how damn good it sticks...

I think you echoed my thoughts. I'd prefer some torque over top end power. With regards to the trans, that's exactly why I still have my Nitto 555's still on the back until I put the T-56 in next winter.
