Thanks for the help guys , I will feel better about doing this when the time comes. Im also waiting for the cdc spoiler to get here so I can get them painted at the same time.

Well I have to say that the scoops were an easy install, but 2 winters later, both of them have come off and had to be reaffixed. I attribute to bitter winter temperatures as the car is stored outside (well protected) in the winter. I took them in to a body shop and had them professionally installed and they did, as mentioned above, thoroughly prep them and fitted them well before installing. the 3M tape is adequate, but for the reinstall I had them use a strong adhesive as well. Probably will take the paint off with it if I ever wanted to remove them.
